BTTV - A Linux driver for Bt848/849/878/879 based frame grabbers

This is the old support page for the Linux driver for frame grabber cards with the Brooktree Bt848/849 and Bt878/879.

The following cards were used by myself (thanks to sample cards by the manufacturers) and supported in any case (at least the versions I have):

: All current kernel versions are based on the >=0.7.x versions of bttv by Gerd Knorr which you can find on his page . Please ask Gerd or the Video4Linux mailing list if you have questions regarding current versions. We won´t answer any questions regarding bttv anymore.

bttv-0.6.4h.tar.gz: This was the last version released by us way back in 1999.
Please do not use it anymore. It is only provided here as reference.

JVtxView: JVtxView is a videotext decoder implemented as Java applet. Together with vbidecode and a web server this allows a client/server solution. A slightly patched vbidecode-1.0 is included.
